2.54mm / 0.1" Pitch Press-Fit Male Pin Header

2.54mm / 0.1" Pitch Press-Fit Male Pin Header

If your soldering isn't quite up to scratch, or you yet don't own a soldering iron, then these nifty 0.1"/2.54mm standard pitch press-fit headers might be just what you need.

Absolutely no soldering required! All that's needed is a few determined squeezes with some pliers, and whammo! The header is securely attached to the board with a press-fit connection that will get you started with your wiring. Once you're done you can either pull the pins out one by one or solder them in place permanently

Please note: These are not easy to use and not for beginners! You definitely need a few tries to get the hang of how to grip and wedge the pin headers using pliers. You cannot just use your fingers. We also suggest not trying to wedge more than 6 pins in at a time. Be careful while assembling! We can't be held responsible for any damage you may cause to your board, header, or fingers while fitting them. If this worries you, then get yourself a soldering iron instead!

Comes as a break-apart strip of 36 pins. Snap or cut off the length you need. You'll want extra since, as we mentioned, it takes a few tries to get the hang of insertion.
