This self-adhesive aluminium heatsink will help your NEMA 17 stepper motor stay cool when under load, ideal for a range of applications such as 3D printers and CNC machines which commonly use this motor size.
Keeping your steppers cool is essential to avoid skipped steps, heat transfer to other critical parts and in the long term, longevity of the motor. This heatsink is 40mm x 40mm, fitting the rear of a NEMA 17 motor perfectly.
The heatsink has self-adhesive thermal tape pre-applied and is intended to fit the rear of your motor. Clean your target surface, peel off the adhesive backing paper and then hold against the surface with firm pressure for 30-60 seconds.
