Genuino Mega 2560 Rev3 [discontinued]

Genuino Mega 2560 Rev3 [discontinued]

Genuino...who?! This is the "Genuino" version of the Arduino Mega 2560. If you're wondering what a "Genuino" is, it goes back to 2014/2015 when the Arduino project got in a bit of a legal muddle which started the Genuino brand. All of that is history now and everything is branded as Arduino again, but that's why these boards are "Genuino" rather than "Arduino".

These boards were found hiding in our overstock room on a recent stock check, so we're selling them cheap - when they're gone, they're gone!

These boards work exactly the same way as the current Arduino Mega 2560 (including with the current Arduino IDE), with just a few minor cosmetic differences and component movements (such as the button). Grab a bargain, and a little bit of maker history!

The Genuino Mega 2560 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 14 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The Mega is compatible with most shields designed for the Arduino Uno, Duemilanove or Diecimila.
