Jumbo Diffused LED Chip - Colour Cycling [discontinued]
A colour-cycling jumbo 10mm LED Crazy Circuits chip that can be used in any building brick compatible environment or sewn using conductive thread. Just add power and watch this LED slowly change from colour to colour.
Like all of our Brown Dog Crazy Circuits components, this LED is soldered to a small circuit board with large building brick-sized holes in it. The overall PCB size is the same as a 2x2 building brick component. The part is designed to connect to other components in a brick-based environment using conductive tape.
This part can also be used with Conductive Thread for use in Soft Circuits. Just sew through the large copper plated holes to make your circuit. For quick testing you can also use alligator clips to connect this LED to other components.
This LED is designed to work in a 3V system and has a built-in resistor in its head for extra protection. Power it using a CR2032 Battery, a 2xAA or 2xAA holder, or power from an Arduino based board.
