This Mini Base Board for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) is a great foundation for building a CM4 project or prototyping your own designs with the aid of the board's surprising amount of features for its size!

The RJ45 Dual Port Gigabit Ethernet enables your computers to view them as a single interface, using the one-gigabit connection to send and the other to receive.

Your CM4 simply clicks into the carrier board and can be powered by the USB-C port, which can also be used for programming.

Note: The CM4 is NOT included

The board offers the following features and connectivity options:

  • USB-C for either 5V/2.5A power or programming
  • 40-pin standard Raspberry Pi GPIO header
  • 2x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports
  • 1x USB 2.0 Type-A port
  • Dual LEDs for power and indication
  • 1x TF card slot (MicroSD)
  • 1x 4-pin SH 1.0 fan header with speed adjustment
  • BOOT Switch
  • Reset Button

    -Dual RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 10/100/1000M compatible
    -ETHERNET 0: CM4 original network port
    -ETHERNET 1: PCIe extended network port
  5. USB 2.0 Type-A port
    -for connecting different USB devices
  6. FAN header
    -for connecting the cooling fan, allows speed adjustment and measurement
  7. Reset button
  8. Boot switch
    -ON: CM4 would be booted from USB-C interface
    -OFF: CM4 would be booted from eMMC or TF card
  9. Type-C port
    -5V/2.5A power supply, or used for eMMC programming
  10. TF card slot
    -for connecting a TF card with a pre-burnt image (Lite variant ONLY)
  11. RTL8111H
    -Gigabit NIC chip
  12. Indicator
    -PWR: indicating the power supply status of Raspberry Pi
    -SYS: indicating the working status of Raspberry Pi
  13. SYSTEM switch
    -EEPROM_WP: Prevent EEPROM from being overwritten
    -WiFi_DIS: WiFi disabled, only for CM4 version with wireless
    -BT_DIS: Bluetooth disabled, only for CM4 version with wireless
